Ginger-Pomegranate Sparkler cocktail - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped peeled ginger
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of cava or any dry sparkling wine
  • 1/2 tsp pomegranate molasses

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare ginger syrup: Combine sugar, 1 cup water, and ginger in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer, stirring, over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove the syrup from the heat and cool to room temperature. Strain and discard the ginger.
  2. Prepare a cocktail: Open the sparkling wine and fill the champagne flutes halfway. Add 1/2 teaspoon of pomegranate molasses to each glass, then add 2 tablespoons of ginger syrup. Top with the remaining sparkling wine.

    Leftover ginger syrup can be stored in the refrigerator and added to sparkling water.
