This Cosmopolitan differs from the classic version by using pomegranate juice instead of cranberry, which pairs equally well with the other ingredients: vodka, orange liqueur, and freshly squeezed lime juice. For a large gathering, prepare the drink in a pitcher and chill it. Once guests arrive, pour into frozen glasses and garnish each cocktail with a twist of lime zest.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 tbsp. (450 g) of good vodka (recommended: Stolichnaya or Finland)
  • 1 cup (220 g) orange liqueur (recommended: Cointreau)
  • 1 cup (220 g) pomegranate juice
  • 0.5 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (3 pcs.)
  • Lime zest curls, for garnish

Combine vodka, orange liqueur, pomegranate juice, and lime juice in a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve. Pour the mixture into frozen martini glasses, garnish with a twist of zest, and serve immediately.
