This interesting twist on the classic Cosmopolitan cocktail will appeal to those who enjoy new flavor combinations and aren't afraid to experiment with new ingredients. The drink's traditional Cointreau liqueur is replaced with the equally vibrant Aperol, while aromatic cilantro imbues the cocktail with a pleasant freshness. Serve the Cosmopolitan in a glass rimmed with chopped herbs.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a mini food processor, puree 2 tablespoons of cilantro and sugar; transfer to a small plate. Rub the rim of a chilled martini glass with a lime wedge, then dip the glass, rim down, into the cilantro and sugar to coat.
- In a shaker or using the handle of a wooden spoon, combine the remaining 1/4 cup cilantro with the lime juice. Add the vodka, Aperol, and cranberry juice, fill with ice, and shake well. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
