Little Italy Cocktail (Manhattan with Aperol)

How to Make - Little Italy Cocktail (Manhattan with Aperol)
Kitchen:American,
Time: 5 min.

The Little Italy cocktail is a slightly modified take on the famous Manhattan, made with bourbon or rye whiskey and sweet vermouth, but with Aperol instead of bitters. It's named after the Little Italy neighborhood in Manhattan, New York City, once densely populated by immigrants from the Italian Peninsula. Like the neighborhood, the Little Italy cocktail combines American and Italian spirits. Mix delicious American whiskey with Italian Aperol and aromatic vermouth, and serve over ice, garnished with a cherry.
