The "Perfect Manhattan" is a sub-variety of the classic Manhattan cocktail, differing only in the addition of two types of vermouth—sweet and dry—instead of one. And don't forget a few drops of bitters. Serve chilled and garnish with a twist of lemon zest.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 80 ml of rye whiskey
  • 15 ml. dry vermouth
  • 15 ml sweet vermouth
  • 2 drops of Angostura
  • Lemon twist, for serving
  • Special equipment: 1 glass of coupe

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine whiskey, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, and bitters in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and stir until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve immediately.
