Blend watermelon pulp with lemon vodka and coconut juice. For an even brighter flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. The perfect cocktail for summer parties! For this recipe, use seedless watermelon.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Cocktail

  • 8 cups diced watermelon (about half a small watermelon) + extra wedges for garnish
  • 240 ml chilled lemon vodka
  • 200 ml simple sugar syrup, see recipe below
  • 1 can (520 ml) coconut juice
  • 1 lemon

Sugar syrup

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Chill the watermelon in the freezer for 30 minutes. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice. Serve very cold in a chilled glass, garnished with watermelon or lemon slices.

    Sugar syrup:
    Yield: about 1.5 cups

    In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Alternatively, reheat in the microwave. Store the syrup in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
