This perfect fall alcoholic cocktail is made with simple ingredients in just 15 minutes. A few spices, orange, non-alcoholic apple cider (or unfiltered juice), and brandy combine to create a fragrant, warming drink that relaxes and eases cold symptoms.


Ingredients:

  • Half an orange, cut in half
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 cups non-alcoholic apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Brandy, to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Stick a clove into half an orange. Pour the cider into a medium saucepan, add the cinnamon and oranges, and bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
  • Before serving, pour a splash of brandy into each cup. Pour the hot cider over the top and top with a dollop of whipped cream.
