Try this smooth, creamy avocado cocktail with rum and lime juice. It's just the right amount of sweet and refreshing. Serve well-chilled (but not over ice!) in a coupe glass, garnished with a pinch of salt.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.

- 90 ml. agave syrup
- 1 ripe avocado
- 0.5 teaspoon ascorbic acid
- 45 ml rum, such as Banks 5 Island Blend
- 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- Salt for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Combine the syrup and avocado in a bowl and mash until smooth. Add the ascorbic acid and stir (this will prevent the avocado from browning). Strain the avocado mixture through a fine sieve until smooth.
- Combine rum, lime juice, and 2 heaping tablespoons of avocado puree in a shaker. Add some ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain through a sieve into a coupe glass. Sprinkle with a small pinch of salt.
