Delight your guests at your house party with these vibrant rainbow cocktails made with gin, grenadine, pineapple juice, and Curaçao liqueur. Serve as shots or pour over crushed ice for a fun frozen dessert.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 15 ml of grenadine
  • Crushed ice
  • 150 ml pineapple juice (or any other fruit juice)
  • 60 ml gin (or other colorless alcohol)
  • A little Curacao

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place 6-7 shot glasses or a large bowl of crushed ice (if making popsicles) on the work surface. This will be a mess.
  2. Pour grenadine into a shaker. Add enough crushed ice until the shaker is three-quarters full.

  3. Slowly pour the pineapple juice into the shaker using the back of a spoon. Then add the gin and a splash of curaçao. This will create distinct layers. Strain the mixture into shot glasses. If you're making fruit ice, pour the cocktail over crushed ice, making sure there's enough room for all the colors.
