If you're not a fan of dark spirits, don't worry, there are plenty of other ways to get into the holiday spirit. This gingerbread-inspired cocktail from Rachel Ray features all the autumnal flavors we know and love, and instead of brandy, it uses a blend of vodka and ginger liqueur.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 45 ml of vodka
  • 30 ml ginger liqueur, such as Domaine de Canton
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon agave syrup
  • 1/4 tsp peeled and grated fresh ginger
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of ground cloves
  • A pinch of grated nutmeg
  • Ice
  • Cinnamon stick for serving
