In the summer heat, the most coveted treat is ice cream or sorbet. Make it even more refreshing by mixing watermelon pulp with mint leaves. Freeze the sorbet in popsicle molds with sticks. If you're making a dessert for adults, add vodka to the watermelon mixture. You won't taste it in the finished sorbet, but it will definitely lift your spirits!

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.

1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon, sugar, and vodka. Blend until smooth. Add the mint and blend again. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, inserting wooden picks 2 inches (5 cm) into the mold. Freeze for at least 10 hours or overnight.
  2. To release the sorbet from the mold, dip it in hot water for 5-10 seconds. Serve immediately.

    Note

To make non-alcoholic sorbet, replace the vodka with an equal amount of orange juice.
