Lollipop cookies

How to Make Lollipop Cookies
Time: 40 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 14 cookies on a stick

Kids will love this flower-shaped cookie popsicle treat with a lollipop inside. It's super quick and easy to make. You'll need colorful lollipops and ready-made sugar cookie dough. Thicken the dough slightly by mixing in some flour, and arrange the petals around each lollipop. The petals will melt and stick together in the oven, turning the lollipop inside into a colorful "glass" window. This dessert is fun and exciting to bake with kids.

Ingredients:

  • 14 small round lollipops in assorted colors
  • 470 gr. sugar cookie dough, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp. flour
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Place the lollipops 4 inches apart, leaving 2 inches from the edges of the baking sheets.
  • Step 2
  • Mix the cookie dough with flour until smooth. Using a 1-teaspoon rounded measuring spoon, form half-spheres, leveling the surface. Use your finger to gently release the dough from the spoon. Arrange 5 half-spheres, rounded side up, around each lollipop, leaving a little space so they don't touch.
  • Step 3
  • Bake the cookies, rotating the pans halfway through the baking time, until the candies are melted and the cookies are golden, 12-14 minutes. Cool on the baking sheets until the candies are set, about 10 minutes.
