Ingredients:

- 2 1/4 cups premium wheat flour
- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- 240 g butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- Vegetable oil, for greasing baking sheets
- Granulated sugar of various colors, for decoration (optional)
Glaze
- 230 g white chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon margarine
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Food coloring in various colors (optional)
- Confetti, coconut flakes, colored granulated sugar, melted chocolate, for decoration

Preparation:
- Step 1
- Prepare cookies: Sift the flour into a bowl and mix with the salt. In a separate bowl, add the butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar. Beat with a mixer on medium speed until pale and fluffy, about 6 minutes.
Increase the mixer speed and, while continuing to beat, gradually add the egg yolks. Then add the vanilla extract and lemon zest. Gradually add the flour and mix until smooth. Divide the dough into two parts, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 2 - Place parchment paper on 2 baking sheets and grease with vegetable oil. Step 3
- Place each piece of dough on a separate sheet of parchment paper, cover with another sheet of parchment paper, and roll out into a layer about 0.5 cm thick. If the dough is too soft, put it in a cool place for a while.
Using a 5-10 cm round cookie cutter, cut out cookies from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 5 cm apart. Re-roll the remaining dough and cut out cookies. Sprinkle with colored granulated sugar. To decorate the cookies, you can use a potato masher, slotted spoon, or a spatula as a stencil. Refrigerate the cookies for 1 hour.
Step 4 - Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12-15 minutes. Then cool the cookies. Step 5
- Prepare the glaze: Place white chocolate, margarine, corn syrup, milk, powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a heatproof glass or metal bowl.
Place the bowl over a pan of simmering water, making sure the water doesn't touch the bottom. Heat the ingredients in a double boiler, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. You can add food coloring to achieve the desired color of the glaze.
Step 6 - Spread icing on the cookies and let them harden. Sprinkle them with confetti, coconut flakes, colored sugar, and melted chocolate.
