The next time you bake sugar cookies, brown the butter before adding it to the dough. Brown butter has a nutty flavor and aroma that will infuse the finished cookies. For a beautiful presentation, sandwich two cookies together with jam to create little button-like sandwiches and dust with powdered sugar.

  2. Using a tablespoon, roll the cookies into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 160°C (325°F). Let cool completely, then sandwich two cookies together with raspberry jam and dust with powdered sugar.
