Even though these quick cookies are made from pre-made ingredients, they're filled with a homey warmth. This recipe calls for ready-made sugar cookie dough. Chopped hazelnuts add a wonderful flavor boost. Simply stir the hazelnuts into the dough, roll them out, and cut out rectangles. Before baking, sprinkle each dough shape with brown sugar. The result is a fragrant, crumbly cookie that's best eaten dipped in Nutella.

Grind 1 cup of hazelnuts in a food processor. Stir the nuts into half a 500g package. chilled sugar cookie doughOn a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm and cut into small rectangles. Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 175°C until golden brown, 15 minutes; let cool. Serve with chocolate-hazelnut spread for dipping.
