Frozen chocolate-covered fruit on sticks is a great alternative to ice cream. It's delicious, healthy, and fun to make with kids. Simply thread kiwi slices onto wooden sticks, dip them in chocolate, and freeze. Keep the finished dessert in the freezer throughout the summer for a delicious and healthy refreshment anytime.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced ​​into rounds
  • 2 tbsp. l. coconut oil
  • 220 g of small pieces of chocolate (dark, milk or bitter)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Make a small slit in the side of each kiwi slice and insert a popsicle stick. Place the kiwi on a baking sheet and freeze until completely frozen.
  2. Melt the coconut oil and chocolate in a double boiler, stirring until melted. Turn off the heat.

  3. Dip each frozen kiwi in chocolate, letting any excess chocolate drip back into the bowl. Place the kiwi sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 10-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
