Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen New York-style cheesecake
  • 430 g of green chocolate glaze discs

We recommend

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
  • Cut the cheesecake into 8 even triangles. Insert a wooden skewer firmly into the short end of each piece of cheesecake to a depth of about 6 cm. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Step 3
  • Line a second baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step 4
  • Place the green icing and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth, about 1.5 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • To make a simple Christmas tree:

Dip a slice of frozen cheesecake into the green glaze, coating it completely. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with green sprinkles. Drizzle some glaze onto the gold star and press it onto the top of the tree.
  • Step 6
  • To make a Christmas tree with colorful lights:

Dip a slice of frozen cheesecake into the green glaze, coating completely. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with colorful nonpareils over the green sprinkles. Attach a gold star as directed above.
  • Step 7
  • To make a Christmas tree with white garlands:

Dip a slice of frozen cheesecake into the green icing, coating it completely. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and immediately sprinkle silver nonpareils over the green sprinkles. Attach a gold star as directed above. Use a piping bag fitted with a small round tip and fill it with white icing to decorate the tree with a garland.
  • Step 8
  • To make a Christmas tree with snow:

Dip a slice of frozen cheesecake into the green glaze, coating completely. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and immediately sprinkle white nonpareils over the green sprinkles. Attach a gold star as directed above.
  • Step 9
  • Freeze the dessert until ready to serve. Use a sharp knife to trim any glaze drips from the sides. Let the cheesecake sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, or serve frozen.
