Frozen desserts are perfect for incorporating healthy ingredients: kids will eat any fruit or vegetable if it's in ice cream form! And adults won't resist this dessert either. Some of the milk mixture in the ice cream is replaced with mashed avocado and mashed banana. You don't even need to add refined sugar: the natural sweetness of the banana plus a little honey creates a delicious flavor and an incredibly smooth texture. To give the ice cream a sundae-like appearance, pour a little chocolate syrup into each mold before filling it with the milk mixture and freezing.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 tbsp. low-fat milk
  • 1 tbsp. low-fat condensed milk without sugar
  • 1 avocado, cut in half, remove pit and skin
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Up to 4 tbsp chocolate syrup

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a blender, combine half the milk, half the unsweetened condensed milk, avocado, banana, honey, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Add the remaining milk and condensed milk and blend for another 10 seconds.
  2. Spoon 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup into each popsicle mold. Spread the milk mixture evenly among the molds, leaving a 0.5 cm (1/4 inch) gap. Cover the molds with lids (insert popsicle sticks if needed) and freeze overnight.

  3. To remove the ice cream from the mold, dip it in warm water for 30 seconds.
