A wonderful combination of two desserts in one bowl. A traditional Italian dessert. Affogato (Italian: affogato – drowned) is a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with a shot of espresso. We'll give it a little twist by adding whipped cream, almond liqueur, almonds, and almond cookie crumbles to the coffee ice cream, turning it into an American sundae (English: Sunday – Sunday) that's as festive as its name suggests. The delightful combination of coffee and almond flavors, smooth cream, and crispy cookies will provide a true delight and immerse you in the aromas of an Italian pastry shop.
