This dessert is perfect for finishing a Christmas or New Year's dinner. It's quick and easy to make and looks stunning, especially when served in elegant glasses. And the gingerbread flavor is always so festive and cozy.
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup molasses
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- Step 1
- Combine 2/3 cup dark brown sugar, 1/3 cup molasses, 4 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons water, and 1/2 teaspoon each ground ginger, allspice, and cinnamon in a saucepan and cook over medium-low heat, stirring, until smooth, about 3 minutes. Let cool slightly. Step 2
- Drizzle syrup over chocolate chip ice cream, top with whipped cream, crushed gingerbread and toasted slivered almonds.
