This sundae was inspired by the American dessert s'mores, a favorite among kids to make over a campfire. The classic combination of toasted marshmallows, graham crackers, and melting chocolate is topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, all in a delicious muffin shape! No campfire required—a preheated oven on broiler mode will do the trick, allowing you to toast the top of the sundae, topped with mini marshmallows. Assemble the dessert in muffin tins, and just before serving, toast and drizzle with rich chocolate sauce.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Cake:
In a bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Spoon the mixture into muffin tins and press firmly into the bottom and sides to form individual layers. Top each layer with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Press mini marshmallows into the ice cream, completely covering the scoop. You will have 4 s'mores. Freeze for at least 1 hour. - Quick Chocolate Sauce:
Just before serving, preheat the oven to broil. Combine the chocolate chips and milk in a ramekin or small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth, then set aside. Place the s'mores in the oven under the broiler and broil until the marshmallows are golden brown, about 30 seconds. Keep an eye on them, otherwise they will burn quickly. - Place each s'more on a plate and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
