Enjoy the delicious creamy strawberry flavor of this low-calorie milkshake made with yogurt ice cream. For a stunning serving, coat a glass with strawberry sauce and pour the snow-white shake into it. Garnish with mini marshmallows and fresh berries.

  • 2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 scoops strawberry yogurt ice cream (about 4 cups)
  • 2/3 cup low-fat milk
  • 2 whole strawberries, for garnish
  • Mini marshmallows, for decoration
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place the chopped strawberries, honey, and vanilla in a blender and add enough water to blend until smooth (about 3 tablespoons). Pour the strawberry sauce into a small pitcher or bowl and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Place the yogurt ice cream in a blender, add milk, and blend until smooth. Pour some strawberry sauce into two tall glasses. Add the milkshake and garnish with whole berries, marshmallows, and strawberry sauce. Serve immediately.
