To make this refreshing milkshake, place frozen orange juice in a blender along with milk and ice cream, and add the secret ingredient—homemade spiced syrup. It infuses the drink with wonderful hints of ginger and cinnamon, which pair beautifully with its citrus flavor.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2.5 cm ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Half a cinnamon stick
  • 0.5 tsp allspice
  • 170 ml frozen orange juice
  • 4.5 teaspoons molasses
  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 0.5 cups of milk

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
