Peanut butter and strawberry jam is a popular flavor combination in America. These two ingredients are combined in sandwiches, baked goods, and even milkshakes. Make a milkshake with peanut butter, banana, and vanilla ice cream for a delightful, delicious treat. Blend the ingredients in a blender, then garnish the thick smoothie with drizzles of strawberry jam and a sprinkle of crushed peanuts. Top each serving with a slice of strawberry and serve with a wide straw. This treat will delight both kids and adults.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 0.5 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 tbsp. crushed roasted peanuts
  • Strawberry slices, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine the milk, peanut butter, and banana in a blender and blend until smooth, about 2 minutes. Add the ice cream and blend again until smooth but still thick. Pour into small glasses.
  2. Stir 1-2 teaspoons of water into the strawberry jam to thin it out. Add a spoonful of jam to each milkshake glass and use a skewer to create swirls on the surface. Get creative here! Sprinkle with crushed peanuts and garnish the rim of each glass with a slice of strawberry.
