This quinoa, strawberry, and kiwi parfait is a worthy substitute for traditional breakfast porridge. Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (480 ml) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • Finely grated zest of 1 lime
  • 1 cup (185 g) cooked quinoa, cooled
  • 8 large strawberries, chopped
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and diced
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a small bowl, combine yogurt, honey and lime zest.
  • Step 2
  • Place 4 short (180 ml) juice glasses on a work surface and place 2 tablespoons of quinoa in the bottom of each. Add 1/4 cup (60 ml) of yogurt to each glass, followed by about 2 tablespoons of sliced ​​strawberries and kiwi. Repeat the layers in each glass and scatter any remaining fruit on top. Serve immediately.
