- Step 1
- Knead the dough according to the package instructions, replacing the vegetable oil with melted butter. Step 2
- Pour into a 22x32 cm (9x13 in) cake pan and bake according to package directions. Let the cake cool completely, then cut into small pieces (remove any crumbs). Step 3
- Gently combine the whipped topping with the glaze in a bowl. Spoon into a parfait glass, then sprinkle with candied nuts. Step 4
- Place a few pieces of sponge cake on top. Continue layering cream, nuts, and sponge cake, decorating with crumbs (if necessary, crumble the remaining sponge cake cubes). Step 5
- Repeat with the remaining parfait portions and serve immediately.
