This popsicle doesn't require any special molds, is ready in minutes, and is perfect for those sudden ice cream cravings. Ice cubes are blitzed in a food processor until they form a snow-like mass, then poured into glasses and topped with a delicious drink made from fresh kiwi, blended with sugar syrup and lime juice until smooth. You can adjust the flavor of your popsicles by adding more or less of the kiwi mixture. This delicious, refreshing dessert is especially loved by children.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1.5 cups of sugar
  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 3 kiwis, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 8 cups of ice

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook until the sugar dissolves and the liquid has evaporated slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Pour into a blender, add kiwi, and blend until smooth. Pour into a pitcher and stir in the lime juice. Refrigerate.

  3. Crush the ice in a food processor and divide it among 4 glasses. Pour the kiwi mixture over the ice and serve immediately. Fruit ice can be prepared from any fruits, berries or juices.
