This delicious fruit dessert in the colors of the national flag makes a wonderful light end to a holiday dinner or a pleasant snack on a hot day. Simply mix the berries in individual bowls and top each serving with homemade whipped cream.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Slice the strawberries and mix them in a bowl with the blueberries and/or blackberries. Sprinkle the berries with 2 teaspoons of sugar. Whip the cream until soft peaks form and sweeten with the remaining sugar. Serve the berries in small bowls, garnished with whipped cream.
