Ambrosia was the food of not only the ancient Greek gods but also mere mortals. This is the name given to a delicious fruit salad, very popular in the United States. Typically, it's a salad of pineapples and tangerines (or sweeter clementines) with mini marshmallows, coconut flakes, and nuts, topped with whipped cream. Of course, you can add other fruits or berries if you like, and dress it with cream cheese, cottage cheese, or yogurt.
