A delicious and healthy fruit dessert that can replace ice cream and candy, and it's also simply fun to make. Frozen halves of firm, ripe bananas on sticks are dipped in melted chocolate and then rolled in crushed peanuts. The salted peanuts pair perfectly with the sweetness of the chocolate and fruit, creating a unique taste sensation. This dessert can be made ahead of time, wrapped in waxed paper or plastic wrap, and enjoyed daily or as a treat for guests.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Peel and then cut each banana in half crosswise and insert a wooden skewer into each half. Place on a tray, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze for about 3 hours.
- Place the peanuts in a shallow bowl or plate. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently. Make sure the water doesn't touch the bottom of the top bowl. Pour the melted chocolate into a tall glass. Dip each frozen banana in the chocolate, turning to coat, and immediately roll in the peanuts. Place on a tray lined with waxed paper. Serve immediately, or wrap individually in plastic wrap or waxed paper and freeze for up to 2 weeks.
