Chefs share their best ideas.

"Before pouring milk over my cereal, I infuse it with fruit. Place banana slices and berries in a small pitcher, sprinkle with sugar, pour in milk, and then refrigerate. The milk will thicken a bit, and it's much tastier!" Sunny Anderson.

"We used to enjoy banana sandwiches as kids. Lots of people eat banana sandwiches, but not the kind my mom made: white bread, mayonnaise, bananas—that's it!" Jamie Dean.

"There's nothing better than a smoothie. I blend 2 bananas, 2 cups each of blueberries and strawberries, 2 cups of frozen yogurt, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of ice, plus my secret ingredient: fresh mint! It adds extra freshness and flavor." Robert Irwin.

"For our son, Lorenzo, we slice a banana at an angle and spread Nutella on top. Do this before bath time, otherwise you'll find Nutella in the most unexpected places: in his hair, on the stair railing, or on the fan," Jeff Mauro.

"I always make three-ingredient pancakes. Mash 1 banana, mix with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and 1 beaten egg. Spray a hot nonstick skillet with cooking spray; drop in the batter, tablespoon at a time, and cook for 1-2 minutes per side. Serve with banana slices." Kelsey Nixon.
