If you have leftover baked chicken or turkey after a holiday, use it the next day to make a salad and assemble delicious sandwiches with it. This salad is convenient because you can substitute ingredients with similar textures, depending on what you have on hand. For example, if you don't have celery, use an apple or radish. Crisp vegetables, baked chicken, onions, and mayonnaise—these are all the ingredients for the perfect salad.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.

1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1.5 cups shredded cooked chicken or turkey

  • 1/4 small red onion, chopped (can be substituted with 2 green onions or 1 large shallot)
