If you've decided to treat your loved one to ice cream instead of the traditional Valentine's Day chocolate-covered strawberries, then go with strawberry ice cream and heart-shaped ice cream! Covering it in chocolate is easy. For this dessert, you'll need well-set ice cream, a heart-shaped cookie cutter, dark chocolate and coconut oil for the glaze, and Candy Melts in various colors to decorate the chocolate-covered hearts.

Recipe:

Turn a 1½-pound container of strawberry ice cream on its side and cut it into 1-inch-thick slices with a large serrated knife; remove the cardboard. Using a 2-inch cookie cutter, cut out hearts from the ice cream, place them on a wire rack set on a baking sheet, and freeze for 30 minutes. For the frosting, combine 3 oz. of chopped chocolate with 3 tbsp. coconut oil in a bowl; melt in the microwave, stirring in 30-second intervals, until smooth. Pour the frosting over the heart-shaped ice cream. Freeze until completely set, then drizzle with melted candy melts.
