Mud Pie Ice Cream Pie - A Detailed Recipe.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Melt the butter. Grind the cookie crumbs in a food processor. Add the butter to the crumbs until the mixture is shaped.
- Place the dough in a very large pie pan, mounding it in the center, and form a crust, spreading the dough out to the edges. Freeze the crust for several hours. Transfer the ice cream to a bowl the same diameter as the pie pan.
- Freeze the ice cream in a bowl for several hours. Invert the ice cream onto the base and remove it from the bowl. Drizzle the frosting over the top of the pie. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze again. Slice and serve. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and nuts.
