If you have a variety of candies and vanilla ice cream at home, you can turn it into brightly colored confetti in a waffle cone, making it a stunning and delicious treat for any party, especially for kids. Brush the inside and top of the waffle cones with melted chocolate and top with colorful sprinkles, nuts, chopped candies, pretzels, or straws. Their salty flavor will contrast beautifully with the sweet ice cream!

You can also elevate plain vanilla ice cream by adding, for example, various mint-filled candies and chocolate chips. Chocolate pairs so beautifully with mint flavor. Fill decorated cones with mint ice cream and treat your loved ones.

We recommend

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a double boiler.
  2. Using a brush, coat the inside of the cones with chocolate. While the icing is still wet, sprinkle it with colored sprinkles, nuts, candies, or pretzels. Coat the inside of the remaining cones in the same manner and let them harden.

  3. Dip the cones 5 cm (2 inches) up into the melted chocolate and cover with sprinkles. Place the cones in glasses to allow the chocolate to set.
  4. Before serving, fill the cones with mint ice cream or your favorite ice cream and top with any sprinkles you like.
  5. Triple Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream:

In a large bowl, combine ice cream, chocolate chips, white and dark candies, and all the mints. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for 4 hours.
