"Of all fruits, I love strawberries the most, and I almost always prefer making some kind of alcoholic drink with them than anything else," admits recipe author Jessica Merchant. "I'm also a big tequila drinker, so this popsicle was a quick idea. With lime wedges and fresh strawberries, this popsicle becomes the most refreshing treat on a hot sunny day. You know, it's one of those times when being an adult is actually cool!"

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. To make fresh strawberry puree, puree the strawberries in a blender or food processor with a little water. Strain through a sieve and squeeze with a spoon to extract all the juice.
  2. Combine sugar and 1 cup strawberry puree in a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, then turn off the heat. Add fruit punch, lime juice, tequila, and Grand Marnier.

  3. Place a lime wedge in each popsicle mold. Pour the strawberry mixture over the top. Freeze according to the mold instructions for at least 4-6 hours. Serve sprinkled with sea salt.
