Recipes with similar ingredients: vanilla pudding, tequila, lime

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Make a batch of vanilla pudding, then stir in some lime zest and juice, a splash of tequila (or more for a stronger flavor!), and some whipped cream. Wet the rims of margarita glasses with a lime wedge, then dip them in coarse sugar to seal. Divide the pudding among the glasses, sprinkle with lime zest, and garnish with lime slices.
  2. Make vanilla pudding:
In a 2-quart saucepan, combine 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and 1/8 teaspoon salt; gradually whisk in 2 cups milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil, about 1 minute. Gradually whisk at least half of the hot mixture into the egg yolks, then whisk it back into the hot mixture in the saucepan. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute; remove from heat. Stir in 2 tablespoons butter and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour the pudding into dessert bowls. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour or until the pudding is completely cool.
