Frozen Pitahaya Margarita

A refreshing, delicious, and bright pink Margarita is the perfect treat for summer parties, or when you're craving a winter sip! The cocktail is made in a blender with frozen dragon fruit puree. Before pouring the delicious snow-like mixture into the glass, rub the rim with a lime wedge and dip it in a bowl of salt to create a beautiful salty rim.


Ingredients:

  • One packet (90 g) of frozen dragon fruit puree
  • 60 ml silver tequila
  • 30 ml light agave syrup
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Combine one 90g (3 oz) package frozen sugar-free dragon fruit puree, 60ml (2 oz) silver tequila, 30ml (1 oz) each light agave syrup and freshly squeezed lime juice, 1/4 tsp (1/4 tsp) grated lime zest and 1 cup (1/4 tbsp) ice in a blender.

  • Blend until thick and smooth. Serve in a salt-rimmed glass.
