Margarita The Margarita is one of the most famous tequila-based cocktails in the world. It was invented in the early 20th century. It's not known for certain who the drink was named after. Legends attribute it to actress Rita Hayworth, socialite Margarita Sames, and several other little-known women with the same name. Today, there are countless variations of the Margarita cocktail, but the basic ingredients remain the same: tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice.

A margarita mixed with ice in a blender is called Frozen Margarita (Frozen Margarita). This cocktail will pleasantly cool you down on a hot summer evening.


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml of pomegranate juice, store-bought, plus a few pomegranate seeds for garnish
  • 120 ml tequila
  • 30 ml Triple Sec orange liqueur
  • 60 ml lime juice
  • 340 g of ice cubes
  • Salt for Margarita, optional
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Recipe:


Blend all ingredients except salt in a blender until smooth. Use a lime wedge to wet the rims of the glasses and dip them in the salt. Drop a few pomegranate seeds into the bottom of each glass and spoon the blended Margarita on top.
