The Margarita is one of the most recognizable and popular cocktails. It's loved for its simple yet invigorating flavor, as well as the opportunity to experiment with the original ingredients and add something new. Add cherry juice and a few drops of grenadine to the classic Margarita, and the cocktail will sparkle with new flavors. Serve with a maraschino cherry.


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml cherry juice
  • 45 ml silver tequila
  • 15 ml orange liqueur
  • 7 ml of grenadine
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Combine 60 ml of sour cherry juice, 45 ml of silver tequila, 15 ml of orange liqueur (such as Cointreau), 7 ml of grenadine and a slice of lime in a shaker with ice; shake to chill.

  • Strain into a short glass filled with ice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
