A delicious, refreshing drink for a large crowd of Easter guests is made with lemon-lime soda. The fizz is enhanced by the sparkling flavor of freshly squeezed lime juice and maraschino cherries. Their vibrant flavor and aroma transform the drink into a true dessert in a glass. Combine all the ingredients while chilled, then let the limeade steep in the refrigerator for a few minutes. Don't prepare it too far in advance of serving, though, to avoid losing all the bubbles.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 liters of lemon-lime sparkling water
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 jar (280g) maraschino cherries, with juice
  • Thin slices of lime
  • All ingredients should be chilled in the refrigerator.
