Cucumber-lime fizz with gin - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 slices peeled cucumber
  • 6 leaves of fresh mint
  • 2 sprigs of cilantro
  • 2 tsp. sugar turbinado
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 60 ml. gin "Hendrix"
  • 90 - 120 ml of sparkling water
  • 1 cucumber slice, for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place cucumber slices, mint, cilantro, and sugar in a shaker, then crush with a long pestle. Add lime juice and gin. Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Fill a tall glass with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail into the glass, then top it with sparkling water. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
