This cocktail looks like a traditional Spanish sangria: red wine, berries, and refreshing ice are all present. But the cherry syrup and gin give this sangria a new twist and an interesting finish. Mix the scarlet cocktail with sparkling water and plenty of ice, add maraschino cherries and raspberries, and enjoy its refreshing taste and intoxicating aroma.


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml of gin
  • 60 ml cherry syrup
  • 150-180 ml of sparkling water
  • 30 ml of red wine
  • Maraschino cherries and fresh or frozen raspberries for garnish.
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Add gin and cherry syrup. Pour in the soda water. Pour the red wine into the glass using the back of a wide, flat spoon. Garnish with a cherry or raspberry.
