Ingredients:


Lemon syrup
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • The zest of two lemons, cut into wide strips

Lemonade
  • 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 1/2 tsp fine salt
  • Lemon slices
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan, add sugar and lemon zest. Place the saucepan on the stove and heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Cool, remove the lemon zest, and pour the syrup into an ice-filled pitcher.
  • Step 2
  • Add lemon juice, cold water, salt and a few lemon slices to the jug and stir.
