Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of thyme
  • 1.5 cups of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Thyme sprigs and lemon slices, for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Place the thyme in a saucepan, add the sugar, and 1.5 cups of water. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Cool, then strain the syrup into an ice-filled pitcher. Stir in the lemon juice and 2 cups of cold water. Serve the lemonade over ice, with thyme sprigs and lemon wedges.
