Natural lemonade, enhanced with Japanese matcha green tea, is even more delicious, healthier, and invigorating. Its rich, herbaceous color will leave no one indifferent. For two servings of lemonade, you'll need half a lemon, blended whole, pulp included. Add a pinch of sugar to balance the flavor, and just one teaspoon of matcha powder to infuse your drink with antioxidants and beneficial micronutrients. Serve the lemonade with plenty of ice and garnish with lemon wedges.

Ingredients:

  • Half a large lemon, peeled + 2 lemon wedges
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Combine half a lemon, sugar, and matcha in a blender with 1 cup water and 1 cup ice cubes. Blend until smooth and the ice is almost melted, turning into a slushy mixture, about 2 minutes. Strain the mixture into a liquid measuring cup to remove any lemon seeds and membranes.

  • Pour into 2 tall glasses, add ice and serve with straws and lemon wedges.
