Iced tea is the perfect summer drink, especially if it's berry-based. This recipe lets you create a vibrant tea without unnecessary flavorings. Brewed black tea is mixed with any berry jam and cranberry juice. Let the drink steep in the refrigerator and enjoy over ice with fresh raspberries.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 10 bags of black tea
  • 1 jar (360 g) berry jam
  • 0.5 cup cranberry juice
  • 2 cups of raspberries

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Place the tea bags in a heat-proof container and pour boiling water over them. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, then remove the bags.
  2. Meanwhile, transfer the jam to a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the cranberry juice and stir. Bring the berry mixture to a boil and cook until the jam has dissolved, about 4 minutes.

  3. Strain the berry mixture through a sieve into the tea container (remove any seeds or pulp). Add 6 cups of ice cubes to the berry tea and stir. Store the cooled tea in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container.
  4. To serve, fill 8 tall glasses with ice cubes. Add a raspberry to each glass. Pour in the tea.
