Iced hibiscus tea with lime - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1/2 tbsp. agave syrup
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • Lime slices, for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Pour 4 cups of water into a saucepan, place on the stove, and bring to a boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the hibiscus flowers, agave syrup, and lime zest. Cover the saucepan and let the mixture steep for 7-10 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Strain the infusion into a pitcher, add lime juice, 2 cups of cold water, and 2 cups of ice. Serve hibiscus tea with ice and lime wedges.
