Japanese matcha tea will make your Gin & Tonic even more refreshing and invigorating, adding a hint of tartness for a richer flavor and a pleasant greenish tint. Stir the powder thoroughly into the gin to remove any lumps, and serve over ice, garnished with a cucumber slice or wedge.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 60 ml of gin
  • 1/4 tsp matcha powder
  • 120 ml tonic

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Mix 1/4 teaspoon of matcha powder with 60 ml of gin until completely dissolved. Strain through a fine sieve into a tall glass filled with ice.
  2. Add 120 ml of cold tonic. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
