Two additional ingredients—rose water and fresh strawberries—will transform a classic gin and tonic into a new, special drink. You can also add freshly squeezed lime juice for a more familiar flavor. And for garnish, look for edible rose petals online.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.

1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 teaspoon dried edible rose petals
  • 180 ml tonic
  • 45 ml of quality gin
  • 0.5-1 teaspoon rose water

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Place 0.5 teaspoon of petals in a tall glass (highball or collins), fill the glass with ice, then add the remaining 0.5 teaspoon of rose petals.
  2. Pour in tonic, then gin, then rosewater, and add more ice. Make a slit in the strawberry at the pointed end, almost to the stem, and set it on the rim of the glass.
